Kojic Acid:

Naturally derived as a by-product in the fermentation process of malting rice, for use in the manufacturing of sake, the Japanese rice wine, Kojic Acid is a well known effective and safe skin-lightening agent. With results visible to the naked eye, it actively inhibits the production of melanin – the main agent responsible for skin colouration and subsequently dark-spots.

Lather soap between wet hands or on a terry wash cloth. For deep exfoliation, use a body mitt or loofa sponge. Rinse well with warm water and gently pat dry with a towel. For maximum results, use twice daily; once in the morning and once at night.
